Steamrolling over its competition like a fine Sherman tank, Black Ops 2 beats Warfighter with an astonishing 6-1 victory. As a result, it's clear that not only is Black Ops 2 the better of the two, but decisively, it gets right pretty much everything that Warfighter gets wrong. While Danger Close has fashioned a beautiful looking military shooter, they have not created one that engages, challenges, and keeps us playing like Treyarch has done with their latest Call of Duty entry. Many of us will be quick to criticise the Call of Duty series, but they're clearly doing something right, and Black Ops 2, with its unexpected originality and invention, just might be the best one of the series.
