Breath Of The Wild 2: 5 Things We Want (And 5 We Don’t)
10. Do: New Paragliders
When it comes to picking out some of the best additions that debuted in Breath of the Wild, you'd be completely remiss to ignore the paraglider.
Traversing the land of Hyrule has always been a pleasure, but gliding about the skies and looking down on the luscious land like a soaring eagle was a true delight.
So why not expand on that?
Breath of the Wild inherently focused on items, rewards and discoveries, which made it so peculiar that players were never rewarded with a new paraglider. Sticking with the same gliding tool throughout the whole title was fine, but it felt like an outlier in a game that was so full of cycling inventories.
This is something that the sequel should work on, and an easy way to do so would be to insert a new selection of paragliders. One significant difference this would introduce is simple cosmetics, as switching the design and colours up could make for some nice visual changes. However, more importantly, players could be treated to stat changes, like higher speeds or stronger dexterity.
Even Immortals Fenyx Rising introduced different sets of wings, so if a deliberate Breath of the Wild clone can do it, Nintendo can too.
