3. A World At War Remaster Could Be On The Cards

This one is a little more out there, but thanks to a recent leak of Gamestop stock listings, rumours have started to suggest Treyarch's underrated World at War (which has become something of a cult favourite) could be due a remaster alongside Black Ops 4.

It sounds a little too good to be true, but it does make sense. It's been ten years since that title released and a remaster could be a good way to mark the milestone, while simultaneously capitalising on the renewed interest in the World War 2 setting.

That said, the remaster of Modern Warfare didn't exactly cause the waves Activision hoped it would. Gating it off behind a special edition, selling the DLC separately and introducing micro-transactions, what should have been a celebration of one of the best Call of Dutys ever ended up being one of the most controversial parts of the entire franchise.

Activision can't afford to make the same mistake twice, and although the announcement of a WaW remaster would be a bombshell, the company would have to prove that they're treating it more respectfully than Modern Warfare.
