The game's opening mission sees protagonist Reyes heading to a UNSA weapons lab situated on the moon of Europa, which has been overrun by enemy forces.

Once you reach the armoury, you and your team must locate a gigantic superweapon in order to sabotage it, at which point Tee hands you an F-SpAR Torch, a compact weapon containing the very same technology.

Not more than a few seconds later, the giant blast door opens and you're given a fantastic opportunity to use it, unleashing a charged beam of energy on dozens of enemies, exploding them into a bloody mist in a fraction of a second.

It's a glorious power fantasy and totally f***ed up all at once. If any gun were the game's version of the BFG, it would surely be this.
