2. Letters From Beyond The Grave

One admittedly cool feature that's included during the game's closing credits is a series of letters from deceased soldiers throughout the game, which they presumably wrote in case they didn't make it out of this alive.

Though the letters don't reveal any Earth-shattering truths, they do provide a little more context and character development for most of the principal characters (such as who their families are), and make the excruciatingly long end-credits a little easier to sit through.

Hopefully future Call of Duty games will adopt something similar, because it's an elegantly simple idea that helps flesh things out a little.
