Company of Heroes 2 Trailer: A Forgotten Sacrifice
It's time you learned a little bit about the extraordinary sacrifice of Russia during WWII.
Company of Heroes 2 recently revealed the first teaser trailer that provides RTS fans with a bit of motivation to get excited for the eagerly anticipated sequel, set to release in 2013. The video takes us through a quick history of World War II by implementing the use of motion comic type animation with real photographs of the time period. Narration provides a quick glance at statistical information that helps to prepare gamers for the Russian front. Those of you who aren't aware, in 1944 more than a 160,000 allied soldiers stormed Europe, with 2,000 dying in battle. 300,000 allied troops liberated Paris from the Nazi occupation, in a celebrated victory. Over half a milliton American deaths in WWII occurred, and over 300,000 British men and women lost their lives in the battles that tore Europe apart.
