7. The Power Of The Slide-Jump

Yes, it's a standard move, but there are some pointers to take on board about the slide-jump that'll help you out across Crash 2 and 3.

First up, know that this jump (done by literally hitting slide and then jumping) gets you the most distance in the game. If you want to be absolutely sure you're not going to fall victim to Vicarious Visions' new hitboxes, deploy a slide-jump every time.

Second, you can perform Crash 3's double jump - acquired after beating Dingodile - at the apex of a slide-jump, getting you the maximum height across the trilogy. This combined slide/double jump reaches the top of the screen, letting you net any wayward crates you might have destroyed the initial access path towards.
