According to a German gaming magazine Dark Souls will be headed to the PC later this year. German magazine PC Action cover confirms that one of the most difficult games from this generation will be headed to the PC in August. The game is being called "Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition" but not much else is know about this game. At this point I would say this is still just a rumor, as Namco Bandai have not released an official statement on the matter yet; but since they have also not denied this report either so that is always a good sign. There are some other rumors from the magazine, such as the game will include several bosses that Namco Bandai didn't have time to include in the console versions of the game. In addition, there is also a rumor that the PC version will contain a few new extra areas to explore, but neither of these rumors can be confirmed at this point. Namco Bandai is scheduled to have an announcement later this week where they will hopefully confirm all of this, but until then take this news with a grain of salt. If Dark Souls does come to the PC then it shows that the petition worked and that Namco Bandai is one of the few video game companies that still listens to their fans and should be applauded as such.
