As was first caught by Redditor SmokingGhost, Bungie has come up with a clever way to reference Halo in Destiny without risking a lawsuit from Microsoft, by creating a Master Chief-like structure within the game that's ambiguous enough to not burn the ears of any lawyers. On the Mars Strike mission The Garden's Spire, players must get to the large, red door, then head left, got through a smaller blue door, head down a tunnel, through another door, and they'll emerge into a canyon which houses the suspicious building. Some might argue that this could be a simple coincidence, though given the absurd likeness to Master Chief's helmet, it's incredibly unlikely. As a way of referencing Halo without risking a lawsuit, it's immensely creative.
