9. How To Prepare For All Three Elements At Once
Not necessary a 'secret', but something I didn't realise was possible until I had to start balancing every energy type when out on the Nightfall Inverted Spire raid:
You can actually have access to all three elements at once.
Though it's your Energy weapon that gets most commonly associated with an attached type, you're better off spreading each element across your entire character. For example, my Titan has the Void Sentinel sub-class equipped, a Solar Energy weapon and an Arc grenade launcher on backup.
Void, Solar and Energy.
This way you're never a weapon-swap or a Super meter-fill away from being able to do the most damage to whichever boss or specifically-shielded enemy is in front of you, and it's a much more efficient way to play that I'd highly recommend.
