7. The Style System Is Back (For Dante)

One of the coolest ways DMC evolved its combat over the years was giving Dante access to a number of different special moves and abilities, all tied to one button, yet switchable on the fly with the D-pad.

This Style system will be back in DMC 5 again, annoyingly discarding fan requests of a more complex control scheme that lets you pull off fancier gun moves, counters and dodges all at once.

Perhaps there'll be a way to upgrade across the story, but for now we know Dante is reprising his "four options at once" approach, with Nero assumedly continuing to rank up Devilbringer.
