Diablo 3: Patch 1.0.4 Rolls Out Across The Globe

Patch 1.0.4 aims to add diversity to the style of each class, overhaul existing gameplay and interface mechanics, increase the effectiveness and function of certain items and loads more.

Blizzard Entertainment has spent the last few weeks teasing the latest series of changes coming to Diablo 3 in patch 1.0.4. Those changes have finally become available as the patch rolls out in a staggered, worldwide launch, starting with The Americas. This estimated maintenance schedule is below and subject to change: The Americas: 3:00 a.m. PDT to 1:00 p.m. PDT (8/21) Europe: 8:00 p.m. PDT (8/21) to 6:00 a.m. PDT (8/22) Asia: 11:00 a.m. PDT to 11:00 p.m. PDT (8/22) Patch 1.0.4 aims to add diversity to the style of each class, overhaul existing gameplay and interface mechanics, increase the effectiveness and function of certain items and loads more. The patch is also the first step in addressing serious concerns over the lack of end-game material through the addition of Paragon levels, a new max-level progression system.
