The Amazing Spider-Man and scream at the top of your lungs, "NO MORE MOVIE TIE-INS!" Luckily, it doesn't seem that this will be the case at all with the newest addition to the Spider-Man gaming world. Taking place directly after the events of the film, gamers will be able to spend just a little bit more time with Peter Parker as he continues to grow into the super hero that many of us know and love. Spidey will be able to swing freely through the streets of New York and instantly zip from one point to another with precision. Combat flows beautifully, thanks to a newly upgraded combat system inspired by the success of Rocksteady Studios' Batman titles. A new camera system keeps the action close behind the webhead as crime sparks up within the city, offering up a wide variety of side-missions to complete. In order to focus on storyline, Beenox has divided the game into missions that provide a linear form of gameplay. This allows the player to freely roam through the city, effortlessly swinging through the skyline with finesse and grace. Once they decide to take on a story mission, the game takes Spidey into a linear, more story driven, gaming experience that implements certain stealth aspects to mix up the gameplay. It really feels like a win-win situation for gamers. The wall-crawlers newest trailer shows off a wide range of components for the game, and it's enough to get any Spider-Man fan excited. Especially since many of us have just given up the hope that we would be treated to a true Spidey experience, long, long ago. Enjoy the trailer below! http://youtu.be/C8fWqqE0ErA The Amazing Spider-Man will be coming on June 26 in the US, and June 29 in Europe.
