For many of us seeing new games, new IPs and new gaming concepts is what they watch E3 for. And for many of us, this years best was Horizon: Zero Dawn (what they need the subtitle for God only knows, it just makes it seem less confident about standing on its own lynchpin branding). Playing a huntress and stalking prey through the plains of a ruined world looks amazing. But is the fact that the animals are all mechanical supposed to make us feel less bad about killing them? Because, since they are all so majestic and beautifully animated with tons of personality, will we feel less bad?
