E3 2016: 6 Ups & 5 Downs From EA's Conference

11. Barely Any Mass Effect: Andromeda Gameplay

It was widely expected that the center-piece of EA's conference would be an extended glimpse at Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Sadly, despite the game apparently landing in Q1 of next year (a possibility that now seems a lot less likely), we got nothing more than a two-minute dev diary, which showed a brief assortment of gameplay clips free of any proper context.

Fans were, of course, immediately outraged, considering that the past two E3s have shown very little from the game, and this really felt like the time to let everything drop.

Instead, we got almost nothing, and considering how widely anticipated the game is, it feels like a massively missed opportunity from EA, who are presumably confident enough in the brand (even despite ME3's ending controversy) that they don't feel the need to go for the hard sell.
