E3 2016: 9 Ups & 5 Downs From Sony's Conference

1. Ending The Show With Days Gone

Sony's new post-apocalyptic zombie shooter Days Gone certainly doesn't look like a bad game: it's channeling a distinct The Last of Us vibe albeit with a ton more gunplay and ridiculous amounts of zombies.

A brief cinematic trailer was shown off earlier in the conference, before some gameplay closed the show out, but Sony may have over-estimated quite how impressive that footage was.

It certainly looked good, but after all of the jaw-dropping announcements, this felt like a bit of a whimper on which to conclude the show. Usually these conferences try and aim for a shocker to send everyone out on a high, but this was merely an intriguing-looking game that didn't exactly foster much discussion after the fact.
