Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed has taken us on many journeys throughout history, allowing us to experience arguably the most important historical events to date - albeit manipulated by assassins and templars. Every entry in the series has left an impact on the gaming community, be it good or bad, and has caused Ubisoft to set a precedent for games aspiring to be considered well made and original.

The premise is amazing, and has been critically acclaimed many times, though as time goes on, people are beginning to dislike the slow repetitive storylines from previous games, and the formula that made the series so beloved feels tired and old.

Rumours hint at a much distanced prequel/reboot for Assassin's Creed: Origins. This seems like a perfect way to capture people's attention, and gives Ubisoft a chance to create a fresh take on a great franchise, creating an experience that feels as amazing as the original, while maintaining the standards gamers have grown to expect.
