4. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Looks Surprisingly Good
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was actually leaked a few weeks ago, and while it's certainly a concept that could've been a terrible mish-mash of properties, it actually looks like a ton of fun.

Yes, it helped that Shigeru Miyamoto himself came out to the stage to tease a battle with Yves Guilllemot, but the XCOM-inspired gameplay simply looked much more natural a fit than just about anyone could've expected.
Few could've seen this coming, and the visuals also look beautiful to boot, which again, isn't really a necessity for a game of this type. Above all else, props to Nintendo and Ubisoft for trying something totally different. The game will release on August 29th.
