E3 2017: 6 Ups & 5 Downs From EA's Conference

1. All The Missing Games

The biggest disappointment this year was a number of anticipated, rumoured and expected games that didn't show up at the conference. For one, Unravel 2 was announced over a year ago, but not even a teaser or thread of gameplay (sorry) was to be seen.

Then there's Visceral Games' much-discussed Star Wars title which was nowhere to be seen, and though some fans took solace in the possibility of the game showing up in either Microsoft or Sony's conferences, Visceral's Amy Hennig dashed all hope by tweeting out that this year is all about Battlefront II.

Finally, there were strong rumours ahead of E3 that Dead Space might be getting a new sequel or even a franchise reboot, but sadly this seems to have been bunk. Still, rumours are just rumours at the end of the day.

Though EA's conferences are always incredibly hit-and-miss, at least this year's did have its share of things to get excited about...
