4. The Lack Of Release Date Announcements

Release date information was incredibly scarce this year, and though it wasn't a surprise that, say, God of War didn't get a date beyond a vague "early 2018", it was more surprising that Detroit: Become Human in particular remains without a release date, considering how long it's been since the project was first revealed.

And then there's the depressing double-whammy of Final Fantasy VII Remake and especially Kingdom Hearts III still being undated, considering the latter was first announced way back at E3 2013.

This felt like the right time for Sony to start plotting out their roadmap for the next 9 months, but strangely, they basically opted not to. There's always Gamescom and PSX, at least...
