2. A Final Fantasy XIV & Monster Hunter World Crossover Is Coming This Summer
Straight from the school of "f*** it, why not?" video game crossovers, the conference confirmed that a Monster Hunter World-themed crossover event will be taking place within Final Fantasy XIV this summer.

It remains unclear exactly how the two games will intersect, but Square Enix's press release states it will "bring new challenges to players of Final Fantasy XIV Online featuring characters from Monster Hunter World to the world of Hydaelyn."
It's a bit of a shame that Monster Hunter World players don't seem to be getting anything in return in their game, but still, the idea of being able to run around with a Palico in the world of Hydaelyn is undeniably alluring.
