5. Unravel Two Exists & It's Out NOW

Unravel is one of 2016's best games that nobody played, but apparently it sold well enough regardless to warrant the surprise reveal of a sequel, Unravel Two.

Looking every bit as adorable as its predecessor, the sequel has an added wrinkle: co-op play (though sadly only locally). Though players can play the entire game solo, co-op will allow another player to play a blue variant of Yarny and team up to tackle puzzles.

As great as all this was, the clincher is that the game was made available immediately for PS4, Xbox One and PC, making it the first official shadow-drop of this year's E3. Considering how last year's E3 had little in the way of insta-releases, it's hugely encouraging to see EA dropping a megaton like this.

Plus, costing just £15.99 on PSN and £17.99 on EA Origin, it's a total bargain. Shame about the lack of a Switch version, though.
