4. Kingdom Hearts III Gets A Pirates Of The Caribbean-Themed World
Rather than just recycle that awkwardly-edited Kingdom Hearts III trailer once again, Sony's conference had something a little different to show: confirmation that the game will feature a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed world.
Moreover, Captain Jack Sparrow himself and a number of the franchise's other memorable characters - namely Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner - will appear, rendered in decidedly more lifelike detail than the cartoonish style of the game's other worlds.
The world will allow players to partake in naval combat while piloting the franchise's iconic vessel the Black Pearl, and though the game's framerate still seems disappointingly choppy during intense action sequences, the actual mechanics and homages to beloved properties do seem absolutely on-point.
