E3 2019: 10 Most Disappointing Video Game No-Shows
10. Rocksteady's Next Game
This one would rank a lot higher on our list of disappointments, if we weren't told beforehand that it wasn't showing up.
That being said, it's still a major letdown, and truth be told we were all holding out a little hope that it would still show up at the Xbox conference.
Rocksteady, the genius studio behind the Batman: Arkham trilogy, hasn't released a game since 2016. That's a long time for a high-profile studio not to even show a cinematic trailer for its next project.
The anxious wait around Rocksteady's next title is compounded by the fact that we're almost certain it's a D.C superheroes game. For years rumours have suggested that the team's next game would be based on Superman, but that seemingly isn't the case.
Regardless, we'd really like to know just what it is they're working on. At this point we're assuming it's something cross-gen, and that leaves us to assume it's going to be revealed at the Game Awards, PlayStation Experience, or perhaps we'll have to wait a full calendar year for an E3 2020 reveal.
C'mon Rocksteady, don't make us wait that long. At least just let us know what it is!
