Undoubtedly the biggest shock of the entire show was the surprise revelation that Keanu Reeves will be playing a mysterious supporting character in Cyberpunk 2077.

At the end of an ultra-slick cinematic trailer, the wounded player character V is approached by a shady, sunglasses-wearing figure with a robotic arm who tells him, "Wake the f*** up, samurai, we have a city to burn", before removing the glasses to reveal Reeves' face.

Reeves then took to the E3 stage to say a few words and reveal the game's release far-out April 16, 2020 release date. But let's be honest, Keanu's presence alone completely overshadowed that date drop.

Though the lack of a gameplay walkthrough was disappointing, how could anyone not love this? No word yet on the precise nature of Reeves' character, but he sure as hell looks every bit as badass as you'd hope.
