7. Avalanche Studios' New Game Is Contraband

Avalanche Studios, the team behind Just Cause, Mad Max, and Rage 2, dropped a brief but intriguing teaser trailer for their new IP, Contraband.

The cinematic teaser didn't show off any gameplay, but confirmed that the game is a co-op open-world action-adventure game, seemingly with a focus on pulling off daring heist missions.

Described as a "co-op smuggler’s paradise set in the fictional world of 1970s Bayan" by Avalanche, it seems like fairly familiar, free-wheeling territory for Avalanche, though given the inspired silliness of the Just Cause games, a leap into co-op fare seems smart.

And as with almost every game featured in the Microsoft/Bethesda show, it's coming to Xbox Game Pass day one. Rejoice.
