Unlike in the THQ series which only offered the choice of whether a match would be ranked or unranked, EA Sports UFC offers the full suite of competitive options we have come to expect from their games. Though we were unable to actually use the network options, from what we saw EA Sports has once again delivered. The three main options for online are Championship, Rivalry and Quick Match. The mode which got us the most excited was the Rivalry mode. This would allow buddies to compete over Xbox Live or PSN and have all their matches against one another documented with a breakdown of all the statistical information. This means that gone are the heated debates about who the best is as there can be no questioning who the undisputed champion is.
