8. Glove Touching And Taunts

If you watch any UFC fight, they begin with a touch of the gloves from each competitor. It€™s a gesture of sportsmanshop and if fighters don€™t touch gloves there€™s always comment passed on it, detailing how the pair must hate each other. Unlike its predecessor, UFC Undisputed 3, this game skips out on the option to touch gloves €“ it just shows it in the animation of the prefight ceremonies. While this may seem trivial, the lack of glove touching will be a disappointing no-show when it comes to online play. With glove touching, it€™s a friendly way to say €˜good game€™ to your opponent after you€™ve both fought in an enjoyable bout. Similarly, having the option to pass up on a touch of gloves to express your disdain would have been a nice feature to establish a compelling online rivalry. Even better would have been taunts to mock your opponent€™s skill. In the past games these have included jumping up-and-down on the spot or dropping your hands low to show your contempt for your enemy€™s striking.
