EA Sports UFC Demo: 10 Broken Things EA Must Fix Before Release

2. Glitches

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuyoOIoD1U4&feature=youtu.be We know, we know €“ this is only a demo. However, a demo should allow you to experience the game and help you make a decision on if you€™re willing to shell out £50 for the full version so they have to leave a good impression, right? Glitches should really be ironed out €“ especially when the game is due for release in less than a month on June 17th. The volume of glitch videos that have hit the information super-highway that is the internet in the two days since the demo€™s release tells us that it is more than a small, isolated issue. Indeed, even in our session with the game at EA HQ we noticed a few minor glitches; mainly centering on the game€™s erratic physics engine. A particularly amusing glitch is the one shown above, in which Jon Jones throws a kick only to be tripped over by a ghost. He then faceplants the floor, rolls onto his back and squirms around as if fighting off said ghost before he pulls off a submission. This glitch could allow your opponent to mount you and land some ground-and-pound and €“ with the game€™s easy KOs €“ could potentially lose you the match; imagine if this were to happen in a competitive online game! While EA still have time to eradicate these problems, it€™s not a good sign when a demo is plagued by so many glitches.
