EA Sports UFC Roster: 15 Most Shocking Fighter Omissions

6. Hector Lombard

There is no avoiding the fact that Hector Lombard is a beast. The Cuban-Australian looked massive at middleweight so since his drop down to the 170-lbs division he has looked enormous. Though his gigantic, muscular frame does impede his gas-tank somewhat, it doesn€™t really matter because Lombard€™s size allows him to be so dominant in the opening rounds that he is unbeaten as a welterweight. His welterweight debut against Nate Marquardt was scary to behold €“ Lombard chased down the former Strikeforce champ like a wolf among a flock of sheep and was able to score a nasty KO after just 1:48. Lombard isn€™t just a gym-rat who took to MMA though. His imposing size is matched by his incredible skill. He competed for team Cuba in the 2000 Olympic games in Judo; this was all too evident in his last dominant performance against another former champ in Jake Shields who he rag-dolled and controlled for all three rounds. Lombard is certainly nearing a welterweight title shot yet is astonishingly nowhere to be seen in EA€™s UFC title.
