Quantic Dream's long-awaited interactive sci-fi drama is another technical marvel from the esteemed developer, and though it succumbs to many of writer-director David Cage's usual storytelling excesses - namely a laughable lack of subtlety - it is largely a thoroughly engrossing, gorgeously crafted 10-hour adventure.

Benefiting from some of the best performances in a Quantic Dream game to date - especially the brilliant Clancy Brown - and a narrative that doesn't devolve into melodrama quite as eagerly as the dev's previous games, this is an impressive step forward for the genre and certainly the company's most consistent outing to date.

Compulsively addictive and boasting strong replay value - aided by a smartly-employed flow-chart allowing players to track their choices - this is a must-play PS4 exclusive.
