Anime to game transitions rightfully don’t have the best rep at current standing. Several tend to be rushed, clunky and unimaginative excuses to use a well-known licence.

Although last month’s Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot wasn’t a perfect game, it did help repair some of the damage with its ambitious fan-pleasing. Overall it looked like Namco was going to start taking a more qualitative approach with these games going forward.

Well here we are one month later and this looks like a fairly basic beat 'em up shoehorned into an exiting anime.
