8. Wasteland Remastered

Long before the washed desserts of Fallout, there was Wasteland in 1988, a top-down RPG set in the post-apocalypse, and filled with mutant battles and drastic character choices.

The title was a success but due to corporate reasons, Interplay couldn't continue the IP and instead made the spiritual sequel of Fallout. That has continued into the modern age as a successful (and unsuccessful) FPS RPG with Bethesda.

inXILE Studios though (who are managed by Interplay alumni) brought the Wasteland IP and are continuing it with a third installment.

They've also happened to remaster original cult title for gamers who missed out, or want to relive the nostalgia, and witness where it all began.
