4. Battlefield V

Release Date: Oct. 19th

Right now I can barely tell you anything about Battlefield V.

Outside of an initial gameplay trailer that showed movement has been prioritised in terms of going from run n' gunning to sliding and driving, the majority of clips have had a strangely disconnected, interpretational feel.

Even E3 failed to turn heads or remotely wow as far as the public conferences were concerned, but this deep into the franchise, we can at least assume BFV will be incredibly open-ended, with large-scale battles and tactile options for squad domination.

Oh, and there's a battle royale mode now. Because of course there is.
