For any kids growing up in the early 90s, there were no fiercer rivals then Nintendo's Mario and Sega's Sonic. They went neck to neck in many a fantasy match-up debate on the playground.

With Sega bowing out of the console arena, its lead to us actually getting several official competitive match-ups with the two. The most popular is this Olympic based spin-off series (produced since 2007).

Sure, the formula is fairly rinse-and-repeat but they are a blast with a group of friends...plus, that novelty still hasn't completely worn off.
