10. Godfall

Announced via the Game Awards in 2019, Godfall is the first officially confirmed PlayStation 5 console exclusive, with its trailer subtly (yet officially) confirming Sony's upcoming consoles moniker as well.

Developed by the newly-branded Counterplay Games but published by the veteran Gearbox Software, the title seemingly take a handful of inspiration from the latter's Borderlands series, except with a twist... instead of a 'Looter Shooter' its a 'Looter Slasher'.

It basically boils down to Borderlands co-op looting action, blended with the stylish comic book world of a Darksiders and the dungeon crawling of a Diablo. It's a promising concoction.

The game is confirmed as releasing in holiday 2020, which happens to be the same launch period for the PS5 itself. It wouldn't be a surprise then that this is a day one release with Sony's fresh new machine.
