Evolve: 7 Things Needed Before It Dies Out

7. More Game Modes

Evolve's main mode is Evacuation - an asymmetrical game mode that supposedly has 800,000 possible combinations with, made up of the hunters you pick, the monsters you face, who wins, and what maps you win on etc. Of course, you see 800,000 and think "Holy sh*t it's going to be packed! It'll never get boring!" but it's not like the changes have a HUGE impact on your play style.

Compiled of four game modes; Hunt, Skirmish, Rescue, and Defend, they're still pretty good to play, but it's nowhere near a big enough selection to keep the players busy.

Steering away from the likes of Hunt, Turtle Rock should look into fun game modes - even a traditional "Capture The Flag" option would immediately give the game a faster pace. Four hunters working together to take the flag as the monster defends it, for example.

Many players have called out for a truly ambitious game mode - 12 hunters against three monsters. Yes, it does sound great, but it would be an absolute calamity, mainly because the servers struggle to sustain a five player run through on Evacuation as it is.
