Another one for the "I told you so!" brigade, as the opening section of the game is taking place in pre-war Boston; the futuristic look of a neighbourhood bustling with life being the focal point of your tutorial. The team have mentioned that this is only the beginning of your adventure, but there's certainly a huge amount of work gone into every art asset therein; meaning it's most likely going to be revisited again at some point in the campaign, despite the 200 year separation. Whether that be through flashbacks or alternating timelines, Fallout 4 is finally going to let intrepid wanderers explore both timelines for the first time in the series (the latter obviously being the majority), a really great way to show just how much devastation the nukes have done to the surrounding world.
