Where you find it: Seen that medieval ship perched atop a building just north of the Brotherhood's Prydwen airship? That's the U.S.S Constitution, and it houses a merry band of robots just waiting for someone to give them a helping hand. You see, this ship's been heavily modified with giant thrusters, and Captain Ironsides needs you to find him some parts so they can continue their journey. At the same time, a bunch of scavengers want you to help them clear the boat of all its residents and ransack it for the spoils. Side with the robots however, and you'll be given the Broadsider: a portable, handheld cannon. Why you need it: Because bullets don't always get the job done. If you've got a character build that specialises in heavy weapon damage, the Broadsider is going to be your best friend. Ammo is relatively easy to come by (in comparison to other heavies), the damage is insanely high, and killing enemies with it results in their bodies exploding in a shower of red mist.
