Fallout 4: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Should)

3. Co-Op Gameplay

With the impending release of the Elder Scrolls: Online, many believe this game to be a statement of intent from Bethesda, with the publisher declaring their new-found love of multiplayer gaming. Clearly the isolation and solitude which define the Fallout series mean that it can never follow the Elder Scroll€™s trajectory of converting to an MMORPG. The Fallout franchise would wither and die if there were 12-year-old kids running around the map screaming profanities. There are many though who believe that the introduction of a co-op mode to Fallout 4 would be a valuable addition to the game. The thought of having a suitably sombre buddy drop in to join you on a particularly tricky quest is an enticing one. This multiplayer component would have to incorporate an ultra-smooth drop-in-drop-out system to ensure that you can continue alone when your friend€™s little brother says they want to use the Playstation for Skylanders.
