Any post-war conflict would be between an American remnant - likely the Enclave - and their Chinese counterparts, with splinter factions of these two. There would be a distinct switch in style and design between American and Chinese bases, more pronounced than the ruined all-American landscapes we’re used to. Mix this with the fact that G.E.C.K kits were shown to work on the Moon inside atmosphere shells, and you have a wonderful selection of potential environments.

The existence of Helios One satellite in Fallout: New Vegas suggests that there could be other surviving orbital weapons platforms. These would be extremely valuable for any faction that finds a way to reach them.

If a group of ghoul fanatics can find and repair rockets in the middle of the Mojave, why not the NCR? Or the Brotherhood? With their teleportation technology, the Institute would certainly be able to reach space.

With mysteries like the classified pre-war conflict that occurred on the Sea of Tranquility, and the Zetans presumably still around, the Moon could be a surprisingly lively location to see.
