Fallout 5 Wishlist: 10 Things Fans Need To See
Forget war, Fallout needs to change if it wants to stay relevant.
Well over a year on from its initial release, it's safe to say that Bethesda's hotly-anticipated Fallout 4 didn't quite make the waves everyone was expecting. Poised to be 2015's GOTY before it hit shelves, the title was met with a relatively lukewarm reception, thanks in no small part to huge titles like The Witcher 3 dropping a few months prior.
It wasn't a complete write off, but the fourth main instalment in the world-conquering series definitely pursued a few directions that didn't sit well with fans of the previous games. The title's DLC didn't do much to refocus the franchise either, and instead doubled-down on aspects of the main game that everyone had a problem with in the first place.
But even though Fallout 4 was contentious when it first released, there's a plethora of ways Bethesda can build upon what they already have to create a Fallout 5 that can reclaim the series' RPG crown. Although many fans would rather the developers just throw everything out and call in Obsidian to do a New Vegas sequel instead, there's still life in Bethesda yet, and these are the features I and many fans want to see going forward in order to make Fallout great again.
