8. A New Locale
Being a post-apocalyptic, nuclear fallout ridden world, wherever you go is hardly going to look picturesque, lush and verdant. However, after the many iterations we've had so far, it would be more than welcome.
We know from Skyrim that green areas do exist, so why not give us something a bit different? There are many forest areas around America, or somewhere combining the two aesthetics. Destroyed cities are becoming a bit samey now.
Of course, that's not to say they should completely scrap what they've achieved already. Fallout is renowned for its depiction of the horrors and destruction of nuclear attack. And given that they cram large, open worlds into their titles, they've done well this far. It's just after ten entries, it's going to need some spit and polish.
Considering we're going to be going into the ninth console generation in coming years, Bethesda need to get with the times. Or at least make the brown and grey the best brown and grey on the scene.
