FIFA 14 UK Cover Art Revealed Today At 5PM

EA will reveal which Premier League star will be joining Lionel Messi on the cover of the UK edition of FIFA 14 later today. The company has already revealed the global boxart, which features four-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi. The Barcelona ace will be flanked by superstars specific to each region. Last year, the UK cover art featured Messi alongside Arsenal's Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart. EA have teased who the latest UK cover star may be with a short trailer, which you can watch here. The inclusion of City goalkeeper Joe Hart last September made sense, given that the Sky Blues had just won the Premier League title. Following that logic, could we be seeing a Manchester United player joining Messi on the UK cover art this year? How about the Red Devil's much-improved young goalkeeper David de Gea? Or seven-time Fifa box-artist Wayne Rooney, who last appeared on the front cover in FIFA 12? Maybe last season's Premier League Golden Boot winner Robin van Persie will get an outing? Or perhaps EA will take a completely different approach and go with double PFA Player of the Year winner Gareth Bale. Whatever the case, United will have a star represented on the box art, as Javier Hernandez features on the North American edition of the long-running football title. The UK cover star will be revealed later this afternoon at 5pm GMT. Who do you think the UK cover star for FIFA 14 will be? Let us know in the comment section, below.
