FIFA 15: 10 Leaked Liverpool Player Ratings

By Sam Heard /

6. Martin Škrtel €“ 82 (FIFA 14 €“ 81)

The 2013/14 season was a campaign of incredible highs and lows for Martin Škrtel which apparently proved enough to earn the centre back an upgraded rating in FIFA 15. The defender€™s rating of 61 pace in FIFA 14 had seemed overly harsh so it is unsurprising that he is being upgraded. Last season the Slovakian defender scored an incredible 7 league goals for Liverpool, equaling the number of goals he had scored in his preceding 6 seasons at Anfield. Škrtel scored twice in the first ten minutes against Arsenal in what would become a 5-1 thrashing while also netting goals against Cardiff City (another brace), Fulham, Chelsea and Manchester City. Despite the decisive goals he netted for Liverpool last season, Škrtel also scored a record four own goals which undid some of his offensive heroics. Of course on balance the 29-year-old still finished three goals to the good but breaking this undesirable record must surely have meant that EA Sports were more conservative in their upgrade of the defender€™s rating.
