FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Upgrading After World Cup

By Sam Heard /

1. Keylor Navas €“ 72

Anyone who follows Spanish football will have told you that Keylor Navas was criminally underrated before the World Cup. The Costa Rican goalkeeper had proved himself to be a remarkable talent for Levante, being a huge part in the team€™s top half finish in 2013/14. However, sceptics who thought Navas would crumble under the pressure of the biggest stage of all were abruptly silenced. The 27-year-old proved himself to be one of the finest shot-stoppers in the world, assisting in Costa Rica€™s shocking progression from a tricky group which included England, Italy and Uruguay. Costa Rica were branded the group€™s whipping-boys but Navas conceded only a single goal in the group stages in the 3-1 win against Uruguay. Navas was also named the Man of the Match in Costa Rica€™s penalty shootout win against Greece in the round of 16. It seems shocking that a player who was so instrumental in Costa Rica€™s incredible World Cup run is rated a stingy 72 on FIFA 14. It€™s no wonder that Real Madrid are rumoured to have made a ‚10-million offer for the underrated superstar. Suggested Rating: 81
