FIFA 15: 10 Over-Rated Players Who Need Downgrading

By Sam Heard /

8. Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco) €“ 90

Unfortunately Falcao€™s first season at AS Monaco was cut in half last January as he suffered a severe knee injury which may even rule the Columbian superstar out of the World Cup. Not wanting to add to Falcao€™s sorrows but the 28-year-old isn€™t deserving of his 90-rating. For exactly the same reasoning we gave regarding Stevan Joveti‡, Falcao€™s rating should be downgraded in FIFA 15 €“ it€™s unjustifiable to give a player 90 who has barely been on the field. Yes €“ the flashes of greatness we€™ve seen from Falcao certainly been better than those seen from Joveti‡ but a rating of 90 makes El Tigre one of the game€™s greats. Even while Falcao was running the show at Atlético Madrid a rating of 90 was arguably highly generous, particularly considering his lack of Champions League success.
