FIFA 15: Top 10 Player Rating Predictions

By Sam Heard /

1. Cristiano Ronaldo €“ 94

Almost every year Cristiano Ronaldo-fan boys moan that their Portuguese hero should be the man who EA honours as the world€™s greatest player €“ this is certainly the year in which their complaints will be most justified if Ronaldo doesn€™t get the nod from EA. Based on this year€™s performance for Real Madrid, Ronaldo is the best player in the world. The 92-rating he has been tarred with for the past two instalments in the FIFA franchise needs to be revised. Ronaldo has been the driving force behind Los Blancos€™ dominant Champions League campaign, decimating Bayern Munich €“ who had been touted as the best team in the world €“ in the semi-final stages. Where the Argentine hasn€™t looked his usual dominant self at Barca, Ronaldo has looked better than ever earning him his Ballon d€™Or nod earlier this year. Despite his nearing the age of 30, Ronaldo€™s athleticism has in no way declined €“ the 29-year-old is still arguably the finest pure athlete to have ever kicked a football. He combines his insane athletic abilities with exceptional technical skills. Though their respective performances in this summer€™s World Cup will inevitably have a huge factor on their FIFA 15 ratings, as it stands Cristiano Ronaldo must be honoured as the world€™s best player.
