While the current career mode is great, there are still improvements that could be made. We would all love to see a proper transfer deadline day, and after a hard season of grafting and getting promoted to the Premier League with Ipswich, the budget is still unrealistic, making it impossible to truly improve your team without selling your best players.

In real life, Leicester have spent £20 million on players in their first season back in the big league without selling at all, and at the moment you are lucky if you get a quarter of that to spend if you get promoted with a Championship team.

Also, being able to create a manager (the same way you can create a player) would be a big bonus. At present, players can choose their manager's skin colour and outfit, but even then the manager’s appearance gets randomised and he's actually rarely seen. 

Having a physically active manager who could attend press conferences and have pitch-side animations would make career mode a lot more realistic.
