It’s nearly here. FIFA 16 is ready for release towards the end of September, and just to whet your appetite, you can now try out the hotly-anticipated demo version of the game.

Alongside the demo though, game-makers EA Sports have recently confirmed player ratings for a host of clubs in the new game. The list includes the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and European champions Barcelona.

Each outfit boasts a stream of world-class talent, and even before the main release of FIFA 16 you’re able to test the game out - with the aforementioned clubs - in the demo version.

But this article will bring you a selection of those confirmed ratings. Here, we focus on Premier League champions Chelsea, who powered to the title last season after faltering challenges from former champions Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Chelsea are littered with quality players all across the park, and you can now find out - before the game is released - just how strongly the Blues' title win has influenced each player's rating for FIFA 16. Keep an eye out for Footballer of the Year Eden Hazard, midfield gem Cesc Fabregas and long-term captain, John Terry.

Each rating and card image is taken directly from the EA Sports website, though some could yet be subject to change.

24. Jamal Blackman - 59

When Petr Cech left for Arsenal in the summer, perhaps Jamal Blackman was thinking he'd actually get a look-in at the Chelsea first team this season. But Asmir Begovic soon arrived from Stoke, and the 21-year-old is back to being a distant third choice.

His rating of 59 in this year's game reflects that he's not going to be in the reckoning any time soon.

You'd figure it's only a matter of time before Jose Mourinho decides to release him...
